What is SportFuel?

SportFuel is a personalized integrative nutrition consulting firm based in Chicago, Illinois. SportFuel works with a wide range of clients, including professional sporting teams and competing elite and student/youth athletes. We provide personalized nutrition to clients so that they can achieve their goals and maintain peak performance throughout their long-lasting careers. SportFuel also works with non-competing athletes looking to improve their body composition, feel more rested and focused throughout the day, and eat in a way that promotes their health and longevity.

What is integrative sports nutrition?

Integrative sports nutrition is a subsect of the nutrition field which examines health and athletic performance from a holistic approach. We look at our clients as a whole person and take into account all aspects of their nutrition and lifestyle to provide evidence-based interventions that aid in optimizing their performance, recovery, energy, digestion and overall health. Through a real food diet that is personalized to the client's unique needs and goals, our clients are able to look, feel, and play their best without negatively impacting their well-being and long-term health.

Do you offer video and remote sessions?

Yes, all nutrition and health coaching consultation sessions are facilitated remotely via Zoom.

Where can I can I find the pricing for SportFuel services?

There are many ways to work with us! In order to serve a greater population, we are now accepting BCBS PPO insurance coverage for our services. Eligibility will vary based on your provider. In order to appropriately match you with the best sports nutritionist to help you reach your goals, please first book an exploratory call for a one-on-one discussion with a SportFuel team member. During the call, we will provide further instruction on how to contact your insurance company and what questions to ask to ensure coverage for nutrition services. We will also match you with the best out-of-pocket program for you in the event you do not have insurance coverage for services.
